Effective 4 August 2026
This policy explains what MAVERICKX PTE. LTD. collects when you visit this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
This website, www.maverickxtech.com, is operated by MAVERICKX PTE. LTD., a company incorporated in Singapore. We are the organisation responsible for the personal data described here, and we handle it under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
This policy covers the website only. If you engage us for work, the handling of data under that engagement is governed by the agreement we sign with you.
This website has no contact form, no login and no user accounts. The only way to send us anything is to email us. If you do, we receive whatever your message contains — typically your name, your email address, the body of your message, and any attachment you choose to include.
We run our own analytics using Matomo, hosted by us at wa.maverickxtech.com. We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics service, and no analytics data about you leaves our infrastructure.
Matomo records, for each visit:
To do this it sets three cookies on this domain, readable only by us:
The visitor identifier is a random value. It is not derived from your name or email address, and we do not connect it to anyone who emails us.
We do not keep web server access logs. Access logging is switched off on both our storage and our content delivery network, so no record of individual page requests is retained outside the analytics described above.
The pages on this site load the Bootstrap stylesheet and script from the public content delivery network cdn.jsdelivr.net. Your browser makes that request directly, which discloses your IP address and browser details to that network. We receive nothing back from it and have no access to what it records.
We use the data described above only to:
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not serve advertising and we run no advertising cookies. We do not build profiles of individuals, and we make no automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
When you email us, you provide your details so that we can reply, and we treat your consent to that use as given. For analytics, you consent by continuing to use the site with cookies enabled in your browser; section 9 explains how to stop that.
You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to our Data Protection Officer at dpo@maverickxtech.com. We will tell you the likely consequences before we act, and once we act we will stop the relevant use. Withdrawal does not affect anything done before it took effect, and does not override any obligation we have to retain records under Singapore law.
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not disclose it for anyone else's marketing. Personal data is disclosed only to:
This site is delivered through a content delivery network with servers around the world, so a request from you may be served from, and processed at, a location outside Singapore. The Bootstrap files described in section 2 are fetched from a network operating on the same basis.
Where personal data is transferred out of Singapore we take steps, as the PDPA's Transfer Limitation Obligation requires, to satisfy ourselves that it will receive a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.
The three analytics cookies expire on your device after the periods given in section 2. The visit records they generate are held on our own Matomo server for as long as we operate this site and continue to need them to understand how it is used; we review this periodically and will state a fixed retention period here once one is set.
Email you send us is kept for as long as it remains relevant to our dealings with you, and thereafter for as long as we are required to keep business records. We delete personal data when the purpose it was collected for has ended and no legal or business need to keep it remains.
The site is served over HTTPS. Our analytics run on infrastructure we control rather than a third-party platform, which limits how far the data travels. Access to the analytics server and to our mailboxes is restricted to people who need it. No system is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise; if a data breach occurs that is likely to result in significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Personal Data Protection Commission as the PDPA requires.
Because the three cookies in section 2 are set on this domain, you can stop the analytics by blocking or deleting cookies for this site in your browser settings. Every current browser offers this, and doing so does not affect any other part of the site — nothing here depends on cookies to work.
This site does not currently act on the browser "Do Not Track" signal, so blocking cookies is the effective method. You may also write to our Data Protection Officer and ask us to remove records associated with your visits.
Under the PDPA you may ask us to:
Send any of these requests to our Data Protection Officer at dpo@maverickxtech.com. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can. If we cannot respond within 30 days we will tell you within that time when we will. We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request, and will tell you the amount before proceeding. In a small number of cases the PDPA requires or permits us to refuse a request; if that happens we will tell you why.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.
We operate this site from Singapore under Singapore law. It is aimed at people and organisations looking for engineering work in this region; we do not target the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California, and we do not offer goods or services in those markets or monitor behaviour there.
If you are somewhere that gives you data protection rights beyond those in section 10, write to our Data Protection Officer and we will consider your request.
This is a business website and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to our Data Protection Officer and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will publish the revised version on this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes to how we handle personal data already collected will not be applied retrospectively without a fresh basis for doing so.
Our Data Protection Officer is responsible for our compliance with the PDPA and is the contact for anything in this policy:
